Exploratory Testing is now out of Beta!

New Exploratory Testing capabilities, latency insights, and in-dashboard notifications.

This October, Bespoken introduces new ways to explore IVR call flows, generate automated test cases, monitor response times, and stay informed about product improvements.

Here's what's new 👇

🧭 Exploratory Testing for IVRs is now officially available

Exploratory Testing is now officially available in Bespoken, giving teams a new way to explore IVR systems, visualize call flows, and generate test cases directly in the dashboard.

Explore IVR Call Flows Visually

As you interact with your IVR, Bespoken automatically builds a visual representation of the call flow. Each option you explore adds new nodes and branches, helping you understand the different paths customers can take through your system.

You can navigate the flow, zoom in and out, select nodes, and edit the visualization afterward to refine or expand your exploration.

Generate Automated Test Cases From IVR Exploration

Once you've explored your IVR, you can export the flow to generate test cases directly in the Bespoken dashboard.

This gives teams a practical starting point for discovering call paths and turning those discoveries into automated IVR tests.

⏱️ Improved Latency Monitoring and Reporting

Bespoken now provides more ways to measure and monitor latency across automated tests, helping teams understand how quickly their conversational systems respond.

Measure latency across test steps

Test results now show latency between individual steps, along with average latency for an individual call and an entire test suite.

This makes it easier to identify slow responses and understand performance across your automated tests.

Track IVR Latency Over Time

The History view now includes a Latency Over Time chart to help you identify changes in response times across different days.

The chart displays average latency and the P90–P95 range, making it easier to spot potential slowdowns and investigate performance trends.

Set Latency Thresholds for Test Evaluation

You can now use latency as an evaluation criterion for individual test steps.

Set a response-time threshold and let Bespoken flag steps that exceed it. This allows your automated tests to evaluate not only whether a flow works as expected, but also whether it responds within your defined time limits.

🔔 Product Updates and Notifications in your Dashboard

Bespoken now includes in-dashboard notifications to help users stay informed about product updates and improvements.

Look for the new bell icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard to find product announcements directly within the platform.

This makes it easier to keep up with new features and improvements as Bespoken continues to evolve.

Keep improving your IVR Testing strategy

From exploring IVR call flows and generating automated test cases to monitoring latency, these updates give teams more ways to test and monitor conversational AI.
